My Legacy SW8 ran in command mode (Bluetooth or Cab-1L) - and then it didn't. All I did was to shut off track power. When I turned the track power on several weeks later, nothing lit up. So, before I engage in the "fun" of removing the body shell, has anyone else had this problem?

Karl, you need to be more specific. Are you running in command mode or conventional mode, it makes a difference.
GRJ, see the original post edited to clarify.
Maybe a dumb question. Did you address it and it didn't "light up".?
Legacy locos don't light up when track is powered , with the exception of numberboards (if the loco has them) until addressed.
Rick, you nailed it, thanks! I have only 2 Legacy locomotives and well over ten times that many TMCC. And I hadn't run either Legacy engine in a month, so I totally forgot about the difference in behavior. Problem resolved. Bluetooth problem was most likely "willful blindness", as it worked fine under Bluetooth control this evening.
