Looking to repaint a K-Line GS4 in BLACK and wondering who has decals for either the SP or WP version. I see that Microscale has a set, 48-190, but I don't know if this is appropriate for the SP version.

Microscale seems to be willing to sell O Scale decals again. Go direct.
If you have any problems, La Belle has a sheet that will do about eight different O Scale SP steam locomotives including those small cab legends. Just ask him to send you bob turner's Southern Pacific steam decal sheet. Cost is very reasonable considering how many models you can do.

Well, yes and no.
I get their newsletter and yes, they have re-introduced a few sets again in O-scale. BUT, if they fail to sell, I can promise that won't happen again. I talked to the owner of Microscale years ago, and his reason for dropping O-scale decals was simple: THEY DON'T SELL... regardless of what people think here.
I questioned him about this, saying I couldn't believe that Class A railroads weren't selling in O-scale decals. And he explained he couldn't afford to keep an original run in stock for 5 years... that he loses money on that.
So if you now see something you think you might like, or might be able to adapt, my advice is to send Microscale a message by purchasing the decals... that's the only was to insure they keep getting made.
Yes, go direct if possible; we have to encourage these guys. If they won't provide, then try DaBay, where I get most of mine (because often I'm looking for something unusual or old).
Well, something happened. One of my favorite paint schemes is SP tiger stripe. It takes two sets to get the orange up to snuff, and for years none were available. Then Jay C pointed out that the factory had them, and bingo - I had two sets. Should have bought four! Cannot post my Tiger Stripe Diesels - iPad is incompatible with the new setup here.
