How do you delete an engine from the legacy base/remote. I accidentally programmed 2 engines with the same ID no. I know in DCS they have a special key for adding and deleting engines. I do not know if lionel has this delete function.

Just use the PGM/RUN procedure and give the engine a new ID and then enter it's info into that address on the Legacy system.
If you want to remove the information from a particular address on the Legacy base, select that ENG #, push info, and then push CLR.
Perfect, Thank you Marty

If you no longer have that engine how do you delete the ID no from the legacy base. I was able to delete the info but not the ID no.
The Legacy system has "99" addresses for engines. What ever ID number you assign to the engine using the PGM/Run procedure occupies that address.
So if you sell and engine, go to that ENG in the Legacy base and push info and then clear. The address # in the Legacy system stays but clears out the engine data so when you add a new engine into that address you can add it's information.
