Has the update been issued yet to allow the WTIU to directly be able to change sound files, did I miss it or is this just another way on down the road type of thing ?

It's not a firmware thing- it's the app- no the app has not yet been updated with this feature. We all are waiting.
Oh, I thought it was a firmware type of thing, thanks for the correction and info on the update.
