Must a Cab 2 and a Legacy Command base be of the same version for the Cab2 to find the base? I took my v1.3 Cab2 to a show where a club we were running with had v1.2 Legacy, and my Cab2 could not find their base. It scanned through all of the channels, but failed to find a base. They were on Channel 1. I use a different channel at home. I'm assuming the issue was my v1.3 Cab 2 versus their v 1.2 command base, but wanted to confirm that with you. 1.3 Cab will NOT work with a 1.2 base and I would assume vice versa.
When 1.3 was released a lot of folks panicked because they only upgraded half of the pair and had similar issues of not finding the base. When upgrading it's always a good idea of having both on the same version. You could always down grade your Cab2 and then when you return home jump back up.
1.4 will work with a 1.3 base though.
Thanks MartyE. Guess now as our club (finally) migrates from TMCC to Legacy we'll need to have the club set and member units on the same version to be sure they'll work at shows or home equally as well.
