Curious as to whether or not I can operate LC+ my O27 track to if I need to begin changing over to fastack?

No, FasTrack is not required. Any track system will work.

Thanks for the reply Gary! Guess I know what I want for my birthday now!
Not sure but you Might need 031 curves and I'm not sure if it will go through 027 switches. mine run fine on 031 tubular and o22 switches
Nice to know! When I bought switches for my "new to me" layout I went with O42 switches so I could run some of the newer stuff. I have one loop with O42 curves and another inner loop with O27 curves, but O42 switches.
Thanks for all the advice, I'm just getting back into the hobby now that I'm an "adult".
LC+ will definitely run on your O42 loop and may or may not run through the O27 curves. All LC+ locos are advertised as O31 minimum curve but may negotiate O27.
