Not really, but that is not through any deliberate effort to avoid doing so. I model ATSF and UP and a bit of D&RG. But I model pretty generic "western US" terrain and my layout's downtown is modeled after Trinidad Co, one terminus of the famous Raton pass, ATSF's route to the west, etc. However, I make no special effort to keep anything about my layout protypical to ATSF, UP, and D&RG. I model some more midwestern type terrain, etc., and the trains go right through it.
One very uj n-prototypical thing I do, however, is repaint locos that were never on these roads in ATSF and UP livery if I like the loco anyway. For example, my Legacy Southern Crescent is now black and UP, and next month my new Norfolk and Western J will end up in UP grey and black, etc
