I am a traditional non-command runner in O scale 3 rail. But I was looking at a new MTH loco and noted it could be run under DCC. Does anyone run MTH locos under DCC on 3 rail??? I have a DCC system in HO would it power the MTH loco?? Not that I'll do it....but interesting that I might be able to run it in command mode without buying another system. THX

As long as the booster has enough amps. Have done it with the SD90's
I run mine in DCC only, it runs great I need a higher AMP controller because the Digitrax Zephyr I have is only 2 AMPs and will not run real fast but runs slow real good. you might need about a 5 AMP
