I working a project where I want to use an Arduino to control a DZ-1000 switch machine.

I was thinking I could use two Z0107MA triacs, each one connecting the L and R wires of the DZ-1000 to layout common. This worked ok on the test bench; putting 10mA into the triac gate switched the DZ-1000 and the triac turned off when I removed the voltage on the gate.

Does this seem like a reasonable long-term approach? And if the triac is turning off without a problem, am I ok controlling the DZ-1000 motto without any additional protection for the triac?
