Brian - Tell him it could be any show in the next six or so. We haven't seen Rich in a long time and if it takes your visit to "lure" him out, so be it.

Brian,
Got to tell ya this, I keep returning to your post just to look at your fantastic layout,
with the Hi-Level Santa Fe SS Train. After seeing so many layouts down thru the years here in the Pittsburgh, Pa area, yours is one of the cleanest looking well thought out layouts I have ever seen engineered. I wish I lived closer so I might be invited to see her in person, simply one of the best engineered layout ever, and the Santa Fe is my 2nd most favorite Railroad. Thanks for the pictures I really appreciate them very much.

Hi Art...
I have been going to the shows but you usually are long gone by the time I get there. I've seen your son Jim on several occasions and Jack every now and then.
To get the Verdict by 7:am from where you live you must leave your house the night before and sleep in the lot!! But for Brians visit I will make an extra effort to get up in the middle of the night and join the breakfast club!!
How about meeting for a nice brunch around 11: or so??
Those photos explain it all!! Very beautiful in all regards- one of the coolest trains of all time. Thanks for the great pics!
Very good looking train running on a great looking layout
Thanks
Beautiful layout Brian and I am very fond of the big city look that you have created. Very nice train too and I agree that K-Line had great engines and were ahead of the competition when it came to detail along with value for your money in my opinion.
Thanks Brothers Dave & Charlie. Also a big thank you to Jeff (good to hear from you) and Jonny.
Rich - I am glad to hear that you have been going and that we have just missed each other. I am dying to learn what is going on with you and your new layout? I guess I will have to get busy and get a few things done so we can have an operating session sooner rather than later.

Brian-
Brings back memories. In 1969, we took the El Capitan from Joliet, IL to Pasadena, CA. It was during the collapse of the Cubs.
Robert
The 1969 collapse of the Cubs... I remember it well... It all started at Shea Staduium when...
SantaFeJim-
There are good memories (El Capitan to Calif) and then there are bad memories (1969 Cubs). Oh well, the El Capitan is a memory, while the Cubs are still around and now a season ticket holder.
Robert:
Having lived in the Chicago area for many years and being a sports fan, I have been to Wrigley Field many times. I always found Cubs fans to be some of the best and most knowledgeable baseball fans in MLB. I would go to a game with my Braves hat or jacket on and they had would respect a fan of a rival team. That's not saying we would have some good banter back and forth, but it was all in good fun. Going to Wrigley was always a blast.
