Hey All,
I'm new to o scale and am living in an apartment right now. My plans are to build an o scale garden railroad once we move into a house, but in the meantime I threw this little layout up in our bonus room. The curves are so tight they make me cringe, but at least I can run trains!
Construction is all MDF. 1x6 boards were used for straights and the curves were cut from MDF sheets. 1x2 MDF sticks were mounted to the top side of the cut sheets and 1x6 boards, then mounted to the studs in the wall. I used Atlas 2 rail flex track and tacked it in with small nails - holy cow that stuff us hard to bend! Then again, I guess its not really meant for 24" radius curves!
