My problem with the sound on this Shay still exists! I bought a new volume control from Lionel and installed it today. I still have no sound. When the engine was standing still I heard an extremely soft sound coming from the tender, but it did not even last. And yes, I did adjust the volume control, and did so gently! Any ideas I hope will help me.
Do I need a new speaker? And if so where do I purchase one. Years ago I had to buy one from an outside source, but so far I can't find my paperwork for it.
