Been thinking some more about a 60" round table with only the SG 42 curve circle, trains,
and a lonely little 8" round wedding cake sitting in the middle...
so I just bought a working Lionel 48W whistle station AND an Ives 113 litho Station to keep it company.

Don't worry about the hubby-to-be. A gentle hug and tender kiss on the cheek goes a long way. Always include him in any toy train decision, I do mean always.
Use all the gifts our dear Lord gave you will help him to understand.
Usually it's the other way around, wives not understanding men's enjoyment of model trains. I think your husband to be found a good one in you. Fortunately, my wife is very understanding of my need for being in my own little world. I would have to say that at times I was there a bit too much. Will be married 44 years this November, 40 of which model trains were my hobby.
