Engine Not Recognized | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

Any ideas why a new RailKing PS3 Imperial M-1a that ran fine four weeks ago would not be recognized when it’s placed back on the track? There’s power to the track and all of my other engines have been fine. I tried moving it to different areas of the layout but nothing!

Disconnect and reseat the tether.

Thank you! That’s one of the things I tried but I will give it another try. I understand the connection isn’t always the best.

If that doesn't work check the DCC/DCS switch.

Well that’s what it was! Unfortunately I didn’t check both ends. The end to the engine wasn’t connected. Slowly, I’m learning! 🤪
