Engine sound quit

duncan-stOGR Forum Member

Need to repair an MTH S2 Switcher, Proto-Sound 2.0 #20-2496-1. The engine runs perfectly under DCS control,

but the sound has quit completely. Not sure where to begin. Suggestions?

(I have already reset and reinstalled the engine)

I would look at the speaker first. Itself, connections, etc.

Is the metal flaking around the speaker magnet?
