Engine won't respond to CAB 1 | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

Can't power up engine with CAB 1. Sits silently with lights on. I've been away from running trains for a few years and I think I'm overlooking something simple. The engine on the track now is my scale B&A Berkshire. I've tried others too - same result. Frustrated!

Are you SURE you are using the Engine # that is programmed into the locomotive you're trying to start up? You have to first select it using ENG, ## where the ## is the TMCC Engine number of the locomotive you want to run.

Did you put new batteries in the Cab1?

Check the handrails on the engine shell to make sure that are NOT touching the metal shell as that grounds put the TMCC signal.
