I'm having trouble with my Ross 175 crossover I can run a train on outer loop with one set of wires to my ZW transformer. the same I can do with inner as well. but if i hook both up to transformer both loops are controlled by one side of transformer and have power.no wires are crossed and outer rails are set to common on transformer. do I need to use insulating pins?really stumping me on this. Suggest you call Steve @ Ross, he’s very helpful.
The crossover track center rails are naturally insulated from each other at the center diamond. If they were jumpered by a previous owner underneath (as is often the case when running command) you will need to isolate them from each other.
Mine came with an intricate wiring diagram. It still sits in its box, though.
