I received the add-on two-car Lionel City of Miami set and was pleasantly surprised to see painted passenger figures in both cars! I'm still awaiting the main set, but great job from Lionel so far!

Post some pics when you can. I ordered this set + diner and box set. But assume I will not get it until more comes in from Nassau Hobby.
Here are a few pictures-please overlook the low quality as the lighting is terrible here today. These are the first Lionel 21-inch passenger cars I have purchased and I have a few more observations about the cars so far:
1. The cars (at least the add-on set) have skirts, which is correct; 2. the cars have full-width diaphragms, which is correct; 3. the window layout for the two cars in the add-on set closely matches the Pullman-Standard builder photographs, which is surprising-I'm not a rivet-counter, but it is nice when manufacturers actually put some effort into their products; 4. the plastic cars are actually really nice and I have no complaints, I thought they might be a significant downgrade from aluminum; 5. the dining car does not have any passenger figures-I guess everyone abandoned ship to go get the King's Dinner in the Panama Limited dining car; 6. the dining car has six-wheel trucks, which is not correct, but easily remedied through the parts department.
