Will the cab 2 in tmcc mode or cab 1 mode operate the err system in the 100 speed step mode? I know I can do the TA eob in the higher speed step mode, just loose the squeeling brakes.

With the 1.51 revision you can set the r100 which is the 100 step mode. I have done this for 2 of my ERR conversions.
The R100 mode is nicer than running in plain CAB1 emulation as it gives you the throttle graph and the screen icons like TMCC mode. Note that it still runs the unit in relative mode, not TMCC mode, so occasionally it'll lose sync between the throttle graph and the locomotive speed.
