Why does a topic like ZW breakers get 66 replies that are simple all over the internet. When a topic about replacement breakers on a MRC that are REALLY HARD to solve get 10 replies?? Why the bias? Im missing something here!!

Probably because there are more people using ZW's
I agree, more in use and probably thousands more ZWs out there overall too.
Does the ZW post have pictures & diagrams?

Well, if you want more help, you need to provide more info. Pictures would help a bunch. Since I don't have that transformer to look at, I have no idea what form-factor the breaker is, hard to provide alternatives with no information.

I can't get it open yet. I may have a socket that will work with a little dressing on the grinder.

Those screws are a PITA alrite. The actual dia. of the screw is .100" and .310" in length. Real course thread, 5 in .310". I got lucky my grandson came up with the bolt removal socket. Appreciate your effort Rob.

FWIW, and I've been in the hobby for a while and seen a layout or two, I've NEVER in my life seen an MRC transformer in person, let alone someone using it. I have seen a TON of folks using Postwar ZWs however and see them for sale rather regularly at York and "at home".
In terms of numbers sold, the MRC is outnumbered both by the Lionel ZW and MTH Z4000.
I have a MRC transformer. One button (horn?) failed and I sent it back for repair. They handled it very well. The only issue I had was getting it back from Federal Express, but that was totally unrelated to MRC's excellent service. Assuming I had a bad circuit breaker, I'd call and get a return # from MRC, and ship it back for them to fix.

I did, but it broke in half.
I don't think it is "bias." The right word might be "popularity."
There are a lot more people using ZWs. than are using the MRC transformer.

After second thought you are rite Rick. Poor choice of words. Didnt intend to offend anyone. Just frustrated at this dang thing. I have 2 PW ZW's and 2 PW KW's to run the trains. I bought this thing on a whim to just run accessories. I want to add another main-line and it would free up one of the ZW or KW's. Most accessories run better on 10-12V than they do 14/16V. Craigs list special. LMAO! I do appreciate everyones input.
