I know this topic has been covered before, but I can't find references to it. The SC-2 controller documentation says six switches can be attached. The FasTrack switch manual says only five FasTrack switches can be attached, and not to use terminal 1. Is it really true that, contrary to the SC-2 documentation, only five FasTrack switches can be installed per SC-2?

I hate to be a pest about SC-2s, but as I continue to wire 3 of them up to my 13 switches, I have a remaining question.

I've decided to keep the SC-2s "pure," in case I want to sell them. So I'm only using 5 switches per SC-2, hooked to terminals 2-6. (And I supply 16v power to the two power connection screws.)

I just discovered that, even though I haven't got a switch connected to terminal 1, it numbers the terminal anyway, during the PROG ... SET sequence.

So my question is this: Is there no way to program a switch #1? I can't start with "0" for the SC-2 box, to get terminal 2 to be switch 1, because I'm told that resets the settings.

It appears that my layout will have switches #2 thru #14. A small price to pay for wireless control retrofitting, I guess...
