Joe,
Oh, some very nice trains sitting on some great looking selves. I will always have a soft spot for MPC trains.
Very Nice!!!!
Thom,
Thank you for starting this topic. You have some beautiful looking Pittsburgh area trains. Orange is my favorite color. Therefore, I love those Bessemer and Lake Erie items. Peggy and I ran into Tommy Manners and his wife the other evening at Eat N' Park in Indiana. Sorry to hear about Gordy.
Thom,
The shelves and the contents look great!
Nicely done!

OK- now I'm depressed. TWO really awesome train rooms in one thread.
Going to go and cry over my little 4X8 board stuck in the corner of the basement now.

A big earthquake knocked all my trains off the shelf
JUST KIDDING they survived many small quakes sitting up there.

How do you guys keep the trains clean?
I happily dust mine every Saturday morning....very early...with a fresh cup of coffee.....very therapeutic..
To all who posted pictures, well done. Thank you for sharing. To the question of keeping the trains clean, do any of you use compressed air in a can? It is a product normally meant to clean computer keyboards.

Looks great Thom! Can't wait to see them in a couple weeks.
These are mine. The shelves were here from when we bought the house. The owner two owners ago was a big train guy (Father Crowley) and he put them up. I need more shelves on the other wall, but this is fine for now.

Look great. Father Crowley was a great guy I knew him.
Has anyone purchased cases from Trackside Train Display Cases?
I sent them inquiries and called but no responses.....just wanted to see if anyone has had any experiences with this outfit.
Many thanks.

Brian- your basement is bigger then my three car garage!! LOL Impressive! I like what you've done, especially with the upper level or mezzanine, I don't know if I'm describing that correctly, but that's pretty neat! And to all others the pics you've posted of your train shelve are impressive too! Thanks for the idea!
