Never heard of Central Fan. I did a search, could you be more specific?

His forum name is  CentralFan1976 . Try searching for that, and then check his profile.

Thanks for the reference!

Theres a LOT of members here that fix our pilots, in addition to me and Hot Water, and LaidOffSick and Ron H and many others. We’re a close knit team.

Thanks!

I have 2 MTH 20-20383 CP AC4400CW engines I'd like to convert to a fixed pilot but I need an engine plow for each though.

Good morning!

I haven’t worked with MTH much or newer equipment like the AC4400s, but I bet LaidOffSick.

I tend to stick to the older generations of motive power, the Central didn’t last long into the 2nd Generation of diesels.

I’ll ping him.

Thanks!

I thought there was a 3D conversion on Shapeways for the AC4000? I could be wrong.

All conversions are basically the same. Spacer and coupler mount.

The original post link to that MTH Dash 8 conversion is me, thats how I did all my conversions.

I think the MTH AC4400, ES44 and C44-9W are using the same pilot. The C40-8W may be using it as well as I vaguely remember there was some controversy over the number of steps on a AC4400 and ES44 having six steps on the prototype and only five on the MTH model
