I am posting again because I put this before in the wrong forum. Please be patient if you find yourself having to make a contribution a second time. All the lights ( front and side) on our Legacy command base at the local train museum have started flickering constantly. All command control trains on our 3 mainlines will not operate. Conventional is fine. Anyone know what is happening and how we can solve the problem?

I had all pieces connected to my legacy base have flickering lights on the legacy base, the TMCC base and on both TPC comm lights.
Turned out that the legacy remote has a key stuck in causing the flickering. The remote was continuously sending a command.
With all light blinking I’d suspect and issue with the incoming power. I’ve seen this when the plug at our museum was worn out and without a solid connection the base would do that. I’d try a different plug first and make sure it’s directly in the wall no power strips

Yep. Have seen some users attempt to push the buttons clear through the remote, rather than just a touch, and get a button hung up.
The side lights with the Lionel logo flashing isn't just a stuck button, something is wrong with the command base.
