FLORIDA TCA TRAIN MEET in the TAMPA BAY AREA – January 28th

For you snowbirds, vacationers or permanent Florida residents, the first Southern Division TCA Meet in Florida in 2017 will be held this Saturday, January 28th at the MinnReg Building in Largo, Florida.  Largo is in the Tampa Bay Area near St. Petersburg.  This building houses several other train shows each year so it is well known to the public as a location for train shows. 

The Meet opens to TCA members at 9:00 AM and to the public at 10:00 AM.  For more details see the attached flyer.

This meet isn't even on the TCA Southern Division website, which is really poor planning.  Now we find out less than a week ahead of time.  I usually like to attend this train meet, but since there has been no way to find out about it, I made alternative plans. Hope the lack of an announcement doesn't negatively impact attendance. Last year the crowds were pretty thin with lots of empty tables, or nearly empty tables.
