Foley, AL, Model Train Show, March 12-13

The third annual Foley, AL, model train show will be held March 12-13 at the Foley Civic Center in downtown Foley, 407 E. Laurel Avenue (US 98).  Hours are 9 to 5 on Saturday, 10 to 4 on Sunday.  Admission is $4 per person with a family admission of $8.  Children under 10 are free.  In addition to layouts and dealers in the civic center, the Foley Railroad Museum's 20 x 60 foot O-gauge layout will be open from 10 to 3 on Saturday and 10 to 1 on Sunday.  Contact is Bob Adams, santafebob95@msn.com or call the Foley Railroad Museum at (251) 943-1818.

It's a bit wet down here, too wet for fun in the sun on the beach.  But the Foley Civic Center is dry and we have layouts as well as a lot of trains for sale.  Come see us if you are down this way.  We'll open at 9 am Saturday (rather than 10) and run to 5 pm.   On Sunday we'll celebrate the return of Daylight Saving Time by waiting till 10 am to get started, with the show ending at 4 pm.
