Since Lionel is now offering the world famous, most distinguished, stylish passenger locomotive of all time (just kidding!!) in cabbage form I thought I'd share a photo of the real deal sitting outside Chicago's Union Station last week. I'll try and get photos of the others when they are visible on the ride home. Enjoy!!!

Right! the ties are too close and there's no center rail.
On the other hand, the last cabbage I bought did not have flanged wheels. Or wheels of any kind for that matter. But I am a fan of them boiled or made into slaw. LOL

I am a fan of them in stew, with some beans and beef broth.
Just had Chinese for lunch; my cabbage looked nothing like the one above.
But, they are good chopped and steamed with onion, smoked sausage and maybe (it's a mood thing) some sliced Russet potatoes; lots of black pepper. M-m-m...wait, I just ate!
