Not to bad for as large as the database is. OTOH, it typically is impossible to enter a duplicate number in most inventory systems.
The worst part is that the bar code is the same as well. This would have to play havoc with a retailer's point-of-sale and inventory control systems big time. Granted small shops may not have sophisticated systems, but the bigger ones probably do.

I too am suspicious of the last duplicate. Seems to me that the SP Quad (6-15067) was in the wrong box.

I don't think so. Take a good look at the last 3 digits. Its 748 and 478.
Duplication is a tradition going back to prewar. Just a few examples:
152 locomotive, 152 crossing gate.
154 locomotive, 154 highway signal
156 locomotive, 156 station platform
Yup - I didn’t really check, cause they both came up when I searched for 6-26748.
