In the 70's when I first got interested in the Milwaukee Road Three layouts back, there wasn't much in the way of that road available. I wanted a steam engine so I painted this Lionel #665, changed the tender and called it my "Chippewa". It was built somewhere from 1954 to 56 and still runs well. When the 9500 small Madison type Milwaukee passenger cars came out it was the perfect engine for them. I'm still unpacking trains and came across it. It hasn't been unpacked from two houses back. It brought back a lot of memories from the MPC era and made me smile. Don
