Thanks for the idea, Dudley. Here's the front of my 3 semi trucks along with a GP7.
Then, the front of a Santa Fe F7 with my newly-planted 12" winter pine trees as a backdrop.

Have a good weekend all! Williams Berkshire Southern and Railking PS1 Northern U.P.
PRR H10 rounding the curve! Happy Friday!
Fred Olstein hanging out the door of WP 918 F7 sure wishes the doors were larger, he's getting tied of smashing his head into the top of the door opening! "Ouch, another knot on my head"!
"Happy Friday", says Fred, rubbing the lump on top of his head.

Quite Nice !!!! 👍👍👍
And could you please comment on the nice looking Frisco car Lurking behind the TZ ???🤔🤔🤔 I like it Too !!!
The Harriman style car was an undec RPO. The person who sold it did not know the manufacturer.
It is one of a series of cars for my Frisco Meteor train.
A thread talking about custom decals and photos of the other project cars is found on this thread: I need help finding lettering | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum (ogaugerr.com)
The RPO is not finished yet, so I do not have photos of it.

Thanks for the reply Rob. 👍🙂
So Here’s a couple of Frisco FEF pix for you.
@Dallas Joseph posted:Nice Patrick .
I didn't realize that you had a nice sparkling Santa Fe .
Dallas - The sparkling Santa Fe was purchased last weekend. I needed to have at least one warbonnet SF on my layout ... you know, for heavy traffic demands LOL!

Hard to turn down a sparkling warbonnet Patrick. Looks right at home rumbling through Patsburgh.

Good morning FeFers, It is the late 40s and in the middle of the steam to diesel transition era for the PRR.
This weekend is a very busy one for me, so these pics are from a few years ago. Both engines are 3rd Rail.

As long as we've seen these war bonnets since childhood and on model railroads and in old and new photos and drawings in adds , over and over and over .........one would think they would lose their appeal............HA . Good looking engine sir.
( Well Patrick , now those crews are going to have to work a LOT of OVERTIME checking and making sure the rails are OK for all that upcoming heavy Santa Fe traffic )
Have a great FeF all here is a #54 Ballast Tamper from 1958, 61 & 66 and 69 HAGD all.
Happy FEF everyone! This is a Lionel postwar 2046 that is retrofitted with a detailed NYC Hudson kit that was offered by Charles Ro (1980’s?) and includes some of the same piping details on a scale 700E. The big tender was a kit also, and was an added bonus. Have a great weekend!

Nice engine and scenery.

O.K., I'll bite: what *is* that thing? Given the windows and headlights, I'd be inclined to tag it as some sort of mini-switcher, but with the reference to "rear of train", I'm wondering if it's some sort of a caboose-equivalent. In any event, I can't say I've ever seen its like . . .

I couldn't get to the other end without trespassing, but it looked the same. It's some type of work train.
My first FEF posting. The SD45 ready for fuel and sand for its next haul. Unfortunately into the night because of a pump problem.

Actually, a quick google search brought me to some bread crumbs -- it's apparently a Herzog MPM (multi-purpose machine), and does indeed seem to be some form of work train or switcher equivalent for a limited consist. After I follow the breadcrumbs and learn more, I'll post more if I'm off-target . . . in any event, an interesting railfan capture!

Great looking photos Gene.
Good looking photo of the locomotive too.

It's easy to see that this is a photo done with an old camera ( 2015 ) with not enough enough depth of field showing the loss of detail in the buildings at the top center of this scene !!!
Seriously , this shows you have been taking some great photos on the layout for quite some time Cody .
Happy FEF! Here's a couple ATSF front ends in classic silver and red War Bonnet. Have a great weekend ya'll.
