I was just informed that George Tebolt passed away yesterday. George was our big parts guy provider for all of us. He has been absent from the train shows for several years now. His wife Agnes and their daughters have been running the parts business now for several years, and doing a great job. My condolences to all the family. We will remember George and the family in our prayers. Harry / Henning's Trains

Look forward to seeing him every time I went to York to restock our post war parts. He always had a great selection of the most needed parts. Him and his family always treated me very well. He and his family were always top notch.
Harry,
Thanks for posting. I know George for many years as he was involved with the White Plains (NY) Toy & Train show where I was a vendor. He always was very pleasant.

He and his family were always first rate at the York train show.
Godspeed George. He was my go to guy when I first got back into three rail and post war. He had many items others didn’t.
Pete
My condolences to his family and friends.

George is one of the good guys, …when my dad had his hobby shops, George was the go to guy for standard gauge anything,….his daughters are top notch too, they know what they’re doing,….Heaven now has the best parts supplier for model trains,….they’re in good hands now,….

For many years George and Agnes were great "neighbors" in the dealer halls at York. Not only did they have the ability/inventory to supply parts which I needed, they were considerate and polite people. I have missed them since they retired from York. Very saddened to hear of George's death.
Agree with all the comments......always was one of my 1st stops at York....very nice man....sad news to be sure....
My condolences to his family and friends.

I wish to add my condolences. George was always very helpful and very considerate. He will be greatly missed.
Rest In Peace George.
Sorry to hear of George's passing. Early on in the mid 1970's a friend invited me to York and said you have to look at George's selection. He and his wife were so great and appreciated their efforts over the years. My friend had a parts business later and I would pick up items for him at George's booth. A very great person that we will all miss. Condolences to his wife, daughter and family. Godspeed George.
Sad news to be sure. Condolences and prayers to and for his family and friends.
Sorry to hear this. Bought a lot of parts from George. Condolences to his family.

Sad news indeed and may he rest in peace. I'll always remember George for his kindness and patience with me when I was new in the hobby.
have known George since he lived in Westchester...a fine man....RIP George...
I believe my dealings with George were at the meets at the Glen Island Casino in the early 1970's.
It sure doesn't seem that long ago ... but it is ...
There must be a tremendous train layout upstairs.
A kind person and "Go To" supplier since the 1970's. RIP George.
