GIRLS Trains...for my Granddaughters, anytime!

I was too dumb to make my layout child friendly and specifically girl friendly when our two daughters, now both in their 30s, were growing up.  We went the route of dollhouses, dioramas for school projects, and supporting their activities, leaving the trains languish for a couple decades.  Not a bad choice, as it was.  Hopefully if we ever have any granddaughters, I will have wised up and have girl friendly trains.

I always tried to get my son and daughter involved.  Here's one of my daughter and the layout that SHE designed!

I have photos of my daughter (now 12) and I near a train, every June, except for 2 years.

In 2017, I took a new job out of state and in 2020, due to social distancing guidelines, during Covid.

The goodies are actually a "play" Ice cream set .......it does look very real!

I'm not sure what exactly had her attention.......

She is facinated by birds with large beaks, so she may be concentrating on the gondola with plastic ducks......alternatively, she calls all fish "moofs" and loved the aquarium car. too......

I showed my granddaughters your granddaughter and they wanted to see my aquarium car which I discovered is lacking one light bulb and and all vibration for movement of "fish belt" that's what I get for not playing trains regularly.
