Hey Grand Trunk Western fans.

3rd Rail is making new GP9s in 2 and 3 rail and they're offering one in the blue & red Grand Trunk Western scheme.

I'm ordering one for sure, but as is the policy with 3rd Rail, they need 20 orders to actually produce the run. Now I don't need, nor can I afford, 20 units. But maybe there are enough GTW fans here to put a dent in that number.  They will do multiple road numbers if they get enough orders.

Here's the 3rd Rail announcement if you want to check them out.

If you know of any hobby shops in Michigan or the Chicago area, or other modelers who aren't on OGR, let them know about the run!

I ordered one of these 3rd Rail GTW GP9 locos.

There is a hobby shop called Hobby-Sports.com in Portage, MI that is located on Portage Road. This hobby shop is 4 miles North of the Portage Road grade crossing of the Grand Trunk Western. They have some Lionel starter sets and O gauge cars from K-Line and RMT. A 3rd Rail GP9 locomotive would be the highest-end model railroad item if they ordered it.
