Granny Smith Apple Car

Nice of you to call this to everybody's attention.  I love Boscov's:  I used to shop there all the time when living in Binghamton, NY.  No Boscov's here where I am in VA, though I did write and tell them they should open up here!

I wish I could buy some of these. Granny Smith is an apple variety invented in Australia.

Went to Scranton for kids' back to skool clothes at the Steamtown Mall Boscov's.  Terrific store with helpful staff.  I live in the DC area and am used to "if it's not on the shelf we don't have it" manner of retail.  Wish I lived closer cuz they put out Lionel stuff in October.

I went to our local Boscovs to check out the car.

IMHO, it is an attractive piece, and has die cast sprung metal trucks.

I purchased a couple which may end up as holiday gifts.

CW that makes me feel better, heck the trucks are worth the 11.00 I ordered mine online.

I could never 'take' to this car. I just think the color scheme is off. Can't see blue with the green, should have been a more Fall like color, more earth tone. I also mentioned that to L once, but whatever. No Boscovs around my neck of the woods, but for that price a good deal.
