I remember the Midwest Hi-Railers from several years ago and read that they disbanded. I've got trains, but at present no layout to run them. Anyone meeting to run trains on modular three rail layouts or otherwise? DCS or TMCC/Legacy. I'm in Illinois - west suburbs near Oak Brook. Thanks.

There is a club in New Lenox, the CLRC (Chicago Lionel Railroad Club??) and another club up in the far north Chicago suburbs. Sorry, I don't remember the name of that last one. Some modular groups used to show up at the Great Midwest Train Show, but I don't remember if they were local. Next train show is October 17th at DuPage County fairgrounds in Wheaton, IL.

They have an Open House next Saturday, Oct 16, 9-3 (New Lenox)

There will be a large, modular layout (three rail) running next week in Wheaton.
