I grew up in nearby No. Arlington in the 50s/60s and remember taking the 'Tubes' into NYC from Newark. Must have ridden thru this Station many times.

Thanks for sharing. In a sense, one has to evolve with the times and new developments in the area. In all my commuting days, I have always welcomed great entrances and exits in and out of stations and when a station gets updated, it shortens the commuting time.

They could have built an enclosed walkway bridge over to the new multi level parking garage adjacent to the PATH west bound platform and would only need a new elevator from the street level underpass to the eastbound platform.
