There's another thread around comparing the relative merits of PS2 and PS3 chuffing in the RK ATSF 4-8-4 (both pretty good - but no Railsounds - and the PS3 has
the edge in general; MTH steamers have always had a bit of the "sawing wood" sound).
But, I digress.
My PS2 P&LE A-2 Berkshire is one sweet loco, all around. Gorgeous, smooth, powerful and green (odd for NYC). But the chuffing, once the loco is traveling
at a steady, Berkshire-appropriate speed, sounds as if it is repeating "who's your daddy, who's your daddy, who's your daddy...", ad infinitum.
I really need to get another hobby.
