Long story short I won this engine on eBay for a smoking deal. Seller said it was not tested and had no clue if it ran. I was able to get it to run and with some cleaning was able to get it to produce sounds. What I can't figure out is if it is a locosound or PS2 with passenger sounds. It has a sticker under the abs tender that says PS2 passenger but no passenger sounds or chatter play at all. I'm including pictures to see if you guys can help me identify this and figure out if it's loco sounds or ps2. Of course it didn't come with a box or anything. Thanks in advance

A PS2 engine will have a battery. Locosounds engines do not have a battery.

Ok it has a battery in the tender
That is a PS-2 5V engine and should have PFA. You can get instructions of MTH website type in 6-8-6 bantam. To access them you need DCS or use the bell/whistle combo for conventional as outlined in any PS-2 instruction. G
Do you have a link? The loco has a tether and for the life of me I can't get any passenger sounds or announcements to work. Is as if it's just loco sounds. I've reset the loco using the one whistle 5 bells conventional command
Any ideas?
