HELP NEED SCHEMATIC FOR VISION LINE CHALLENGER

I looked at the Lionel parts list, this is not what I need. The disconnected wires came off a micro mini 3 pin connector. A schematic will help me trace and identify what and where the wires are to be reconnected.

Thanks for the info. I looked at the schematics but I don't think that answers my issue. I guess I need to take a photo of the disconnected wires and post them. Will work on that later today.

This is the original Vision challenger with a RCDR S04 and DCDS-J motor driver. Unfortunately I don’t know of a wiring diagram for this era of legacy. If it comes down to it I can see about opening mine and trying to see what goes where.

this is completely speculation but I think the RCDR is what controls the head light bug I could be wrong

How about putting a meter on the board connector to see which ones have power?

I'm 98% sure that the RCDR will indeed be the headlight control.  It has a standard incandescent drive, so I suspect the resistor is to drop the current for the LED.

Some detailed (and clear) pictures of what you have would help a lot.

I'll work on getting a photo either today or tomorrow. The light was working last week. Needed to fix the smoke unit and that's then I notice the wires separated from connector. This might have happened when I took the shell off.

OK so I finally got the photos of the issue regarding the disconnected wires. Hopefully the attached will help better show the issues. As you can see, there is a connector with 3 terminals. 2 of the wires came off and I don't know which wire goes where. One of the wires has a resistor, but don't know the value, it needs to be replace as the lead is very short.

Any help or suggestions would be appreaciated.

With all the pictures, it's hard to tell what wires we're taking about since we don't get a view of the wires as much as the fingers.

The resistor is easy, break out your ohmmeter!

I'd suspect the black wire would match the black wire on the other side of the connector, but I never could see what color the other disconnected wire is.

I would agree with GRJ black to black and if you look at the connector they broke away from it looks to me like you can still the piece of resistor that broke off on there.
