Minor tragedy has struck. I dropped my Cab-2 remote the other day and broke the LCD portion with the buttons (buttons no longer function). A lot of my stuff on my layout is controlled via LCS Wi-Fi so I was thinking maybe I could just use the iCab app and control my trains that way since a replacement cab 2 might has well be made of solid gold at this point. The issue I am having is that I need to assign TMCC ID numbers to some of my remaining switch controllers, and my remaining block power controllers. This was easy to do using the CAB-2, I cannot however figure out how to do this with the iCab app.
It may be that the iCab app does not support this function. Instructions written or video wise are vague at best. If not possible with the iCab app, will the Cab-1 remote allow assignment of TMCC ID numbers to accessories and switches?Just looking for options if Lionel can't or won't repair my cab-2.
