I need help with a CC M install on a Kline K4 scale engine cab 1361. This engine had Kline cruse that failed. Engine and tender without cabs runs fine forward and reverse. Cruise is working. Rear coupler opens on command. No sound of any kind. The engine has mb 691-PCB1-0B9, tender has 691-PCB1-09F I have changed RS power and sound boards with known working ones still no sound. I have traced and ring out all connections from both tether plugs to proper plugs and pins on both MBs. I have wired serial from R2LC pin 24 to J4 pin 1 on the CCM. I have one connection I suspect. The original wiring had a connection from OB9 J3 pin 2 IR GND through a connector to the Kline cruise. This is not connected currently. A second wire to this connector goes to a second pin that is connected to serial at the engine tether. I am nervous about J3 pin1 IR serial going to pin 2 ground. Is this my problem?
