My daughter and her family experienced a major house fire on Dec. 26th . A lawyer's bookcase contained a Lionel 390-E engine and 390-X tender, a 212 gondola, 217 caboose, 218 dump car,and a  219 crane car. Also included are 2 pr. 210 switches and 45 & 90 degree 20x cross overs. The rolling stock had been restored by Al Rucchio many years ago and need to be cleaned to have smoke removed and be deodorized. The engine and tender also need to be cleaned and deodorized, but also need to be restored to operating condition and be repainted if possible. I believe a hand rail and bell are needed for the engine. Can anyone provide a source who could provide these services and missing parts that has a proven history and reasonable pricing?. I can provide pictures for an estimate to a business or individual considering the work.

It is not cost effective to send the track for cleaning. Does anyone have a recommendation for an effective way to clean & then preserve the track?

Thanks, appreciate your assistance!

Joe
