My friend owns a trainshop and he occasionally will give me things that he has no use for but are still good. He came me this TMCC board not too long ago. He doesn't do TMCC installs and only repairs PW trains so he had no idea how to install this. I have the manual on how to install the unit and I believe that is for AC motors only. The install instructions are semi clear accept I don't understand what it is talking about when connecting this to the motor. Is there anyway a bridge rectifier can be used to connect it to a DC can motor? The manual only has two pictures which I definitely need more of so if anyone has any pics of one of these installed it would be appreciated.

It is an LCRU board for AC motors. Look up Digital Dynamics LCRU.Pdf on this web site for complete installation instructions.
It can be made to run DC Can motors by adding a diode as shown in this diagram.
You do not need the RF choke in the diagram. Just bypass it.
That is awesome thanks so much. If I understand correctly the blue wire is going into the positive side of the diode and the yellow connects to the negative side. What rating is the diodes rating, and is it placed in the place that is labeled rectifier?
The yellow is connected to the diode cathode. Any rated at 3 amps or above will work.
The Diode is the rectifier.
The RF choke was used only for two rail operation and was eliminated after I figured how to feed the TMCC signal to a two rail track by coupling to both rails with a .01uf cap.
Thanks so much I am pretty sure that I will not have a problem now.
