Hi Everyone I just wanted to share some pictures of the my layout,  let me know what you think.  This layout is really just a learning experience for me,  with scenery and all.  I will eventually relocate and build a new layout in the years to come.

Hi NS 1719. Off to a great start! You have some nice ideas for texturing scenery, etc. Don't forget to include a few crossing signals, which always add to the visual, but if your town is small enough, even wooden crossbucks can convey a great look. Scale is wonderful, but so is hi-rail, where atmosphere and action are more important than getting every detail exactly right. Many of us are in O gauge to take some relief from everyday reality and make no apology for not trying to bring the outer world into the inner child sanctum...Be yourself and enjoy what you have - that's the purpose of hobbies...

That is a really cool layout. You have so much going on.

I wish my room was big enough to spread some more rails, but happy with what I have.

Jahn's Ice Cream Parlor !!! The last time I saw one of those was when I lived in Queens NY..There was one there that we used to order the Kitchen Sink all the time.

Great Memories..

Great Layout..

It's a shame you may take it apart some day to move.

Brian

Thanks everyone for commenting I appreciate it.  The layout is still has a ways to go.  Do I decided to hold off on signals and cross bucks till a little later on.  The two methods I used for the mountains were plaster which  is mostly on the left and foam board.  I really like carving foam better but the combination of both is great.
