I totally agree so long as it gets done in Phase IVb. The thing is they'd be very expensive and would sell very quickly, making it hard to get a set. 

Another issue is there would need to be enough cars with different numbers for people like me interested in running 10-11 or even 12 car sets, not 7. Typical consist is 4 coaches, 3 sleepers, 1 transition, diner, heritage baggage/viewliner baggage, and sightseer lounge (plus pacific parlour for coast starlight if you manage to snag a 3rd rail hi level lounge and repaint it). 

If that was overcome and Lionel did it, I would pre order a set in a heartbeat.

Phase IVb would be a must, cause I think a majority of sales would be for that scheme. But for me I'm a phase I-III modeler so I would want to see the renovated step-down coach-dorms offered with a heritage baggage in phase III, along with the standard coaches, coach/ baggage, lounge& diner,  and sleepers.

I'd be in for a set if and only if it's offered in phase IVb. Some Legacy P42s would be sweet also.

I hope Lionel does a Black version of the Southern 4501 in O-scale in the future.

They will need to produce two Norfolk Southern 89' auto racks on flat cars!

The original scheme applied in the late 1980's and early 1990's. 

The current Norfolk Southern scheme with a TTGX TTX flat car.

They should do the NS Safety Train with LEGACY GP38-2.

The GP38-2 Diesel loco, the plug-door box cars, and the tank cars for the NS SAFETY TRAIN would all be LionScale locos and cars that were formerly made by Weaver Models.

I'm really hoping that in addition to the vision line pacemaker and or milk cars that will be in the new catalog Lionel considers doing a run of vision line rpo's. I think it would be awesome to have the dialog of an in service RPO on a fast mail & express

I really would like some tier 4 locomotives.

*Please don't ever decide to use your new Brass Hybrid line to create new tooling for accurate (Late Era) UP locomotives like the 4-8-2, 4-10-2, 2-10-2 or 2-8-8-0.  

*Please don't consider offering Road Name painted un-numbered locomotives with a set of road number decals and number board inserts included in each new box to satisfy a modeler's desire and reason to purchase more than one of each type of locomotive.

I'm in a tight spot this year.  Please don't give me a reason to spend any money with you.

Volume 1 in 2019, perhaps. Volume 1 2018 was in the can a long time ago, and probably a good deal of Vol. 2 as well. I'm with those who'd like more LionMaster items. Reissue the LM Hudson with Legacy, and how about, finally, a LionMaster J!! And more Neil Young type F-3 passenger sets. And where are the 15" plastic streamlined passenger cars?

I would be in for some. I know it would require a small tooling change that I doubt will happen, but the Automax would allow for new paint schemes for BNSF, NS, CSX, CP, KCS, KCS de M, and maybe others.

The BNSF TTGX TTX all orange auto carrier to make are the ones built by TRINITY RAILCAR that the same design as they are already building.

Not quite the C&O Yellowbelly, but looking over ones that Lionel should still have the tooling to...think this locomotive is due for the Legacy/whistle-steam treatment?

What do you think about expanding the cabbages and f40s in 2018 volume one, one of the main things on my wishlist is a Lionel Amtrak 90208 Veterans Cabbage. I think this would be very cool, maybe also another run of the f40s as well could accompany this new cabbage. I think it would be cool to have a Grand Canyon Railroad F40PH to be made as well.

That looks like a great engine to build. I'd buy on even though I don't have any C&O items. Well, always a good time to start(after they make that), right?

How about a mp36/mp40? In many road names to match the existing fleet of the many k line/mth bombardier cars that are already out today.  Besides if we have these locos, we won´t have to rely on the ¨What If¨ F59PHI liveries that don´t exist in real life. (Top 2 NMRR and Northstar are my top pics)

I have been wondering about this one myself and would be in for a Legacy remake, sans whitewalls.

Another item on my wishlist for the 2018 Volume 1 Catalog is the New Jersey Transit ALP45DP. This is a special locomotive that can switch between deisel and electric modes of power. I think this would be very cool to make in O Scale and have it so you can switch from diesel to electric mode. It would also feature a spark if pantograph and smoke unit for when it is in diesel mode. Atlas made this engine and it proved to be very successful for them and sold very well. I think if Lionel made this it would also be very successful and yet very cool and awesome to run at the same time!

Atlas would be your most likely candidate to make this since they've already done it in HO and soon N.
