I wonder if you realize the cross sales created by the train related division. I go to see the train items on the shelves and end up buying tools or something unplanned because I am in the store. I order train items and when I pick them up I end up making other purchases. Because you carry homasote, it makes sense to purchase the rest of the layout structure for a one stop shop. Your Christmas department is pretty nice and probably also creates cross sales, it does for me anyway.
I would also like to point out that the promotion you just had on the lighted pickup trucks has created a huge fleet of Santa Fe service trucks to maintain my ROW. ( buy a lighted truck and get a lighted SF truck free )
Now since everyone else seems to have suggestions here are mine. My layout takes place in the fifties so how about some lighted fifties cars to go with those great pickups you have created.
