High Iron Pennsy K4 with TMCC Doesn't respond

I have a High Iron K4 with TMCC and the super chuffer installed. Had some kind of power glitch in my layout and an MTH Proto 1 messed up and my TMCC K4 will start the sounds as soon as you power the track but wont respond. The chuff generator had gone back to 1 chuff per revolution before this happened. Tried a new RC board but made no difference. Looking for suggestions.
