There are two stores I know of, Moody Street Trains and Robbie's Hobbies. What part of Columbus will you be staying?
Not sure what part of Columbus, but the hotel is on Westbelt Dr
if your headed up from cincy, stop at rockys' -dixie union in mason, ohio.pretty good size mth dealer,im not sure what else he has.
There are 7 altogether, but not all have trains.
Robbies Hobbies is a nice store with the best selection of trains and toys. All full retail. A better toy store than trains (IMO).
Moody Street more towards the older trains.
Hobby Land mostly ho a little Lionel. Full retail
Hurricane Hobbies, no trains.
Tom Thumb, mostly HO full retail, big in slot cars.
There is 1 more, can't remember the name no trains planes and helicopters and drones.
Oh yes, not a hobby shop, but more trains than all the others put together, MY GARAGES.
If you would like to go there, please call and I will make arrangements to meet you there.
Hope this helps.

Also if you do not have to stay on the west side go north to Dublin, or Rt 23& 270. Much better and safer end part of Columbus.
There is also "The Train Station" on Indianola Ave which covers all gauges. Moody Street Trains is a couple miles way also on Indianola. I was in Columbus last week and stopped at Moody Street...lots of postwar, AF, some modern era, some prewar and its easy to get to.

Thanks for the input everyone. I will certainly check a few of these out and Marshal
I got your number. Thanks again
I would check out robbies hobbies. They have an excellent selection at a little below msrp. They also have a used selection. I bought a tmcc gp9 for $100 there that was used. Definitely check it out.
Graham's Trains

i don't think this is far from the west belt. Never been there but I do buy from their website. Got some good deals from them
Dunham's Toy Trains in London, Ohio. It is about 30 minutes west of the belt. It is located in Deer Creek Honey Farms. Lee runs it as a side business. I do not believe he is open on weekends. Good selection of Atlas, MTH and some Lionel. 740-852-0899
