Seems the "holiday season" starts earlier every year. With that in mind, I don't think it's too early to "announce" that I'm going with Flyer this year. Got the sectional Gargraves stacked and ready to set up/out when the time comes, and am using the MRC AH101B for power; the 15B looks "better", but I'm going with the "Dual Power" unit.  That way, if someone starts to run it and forgets, the chance of over-heating should be minimal...I think. 🙂

How about you?

I think this year I will just put some Christmas trains on my permanent layout rather than build a temporary Christmas layout. Mark, I think you will be happy with the AH101, that is what I have been using for the past 10 years on my Christmas layouts. My 19B's and 15B's have been retired. Just don't try to run an engine with the steam whistle or diesel horn. The harmonics in the AH101 waveform will cause them to sound continuously. I do run 295's and 325's, I just lift the tender shell and unsolder one of the speaker wires.
