what's the best way to hookup my new legacy to my layout.what i have already is one new legacy one tmcc set one powerhouse 135.should l get a powermaster bridge or tpc and what cable would i need.i'm new to o scale trains so this is all new to me.just not sure what to buy.any help please.

You need to look in the operators manual, the hookup is illustrated there and is simple to do. You will have one wire going from Cab-2 base to the track, your Cab 1 base and Cab 2 base will connect with the cable supplied with the Legacy. Both Cab 1 and Cab 2 need to have their own wall warts plugged in to wall outlets, actually pretty easy. If your Legacy is Cab 1L you can only use one or other, they will not work together, I was in this situation and sold Cab 1.

I'd forget the PowerMaster Bridge, it's more cost effective to simply buy the Legacy PowerMaster for your conventional control if you want it. Of course, if you have half a dozen PowerMasters, that might change.
Unless you want to use the old CAB1 and the CAB2 at the same time, the TMCC system is now surplus.
